Old commision work

I made this one as a part of a series of six. Anyway, it's one of the character from a game I was commissioned for to do some art more than two years ago... hence the quality ;) The other ones were never finished... since I moved to the UK during the project, ai!

Here's a quick sketch (~20 min.) of one of my favorite games MGS: Snake Eater. It's supposed to be Snake with the skull camo and a rain-cape.

Animation-Still Test

Well, here's something I haven't done for years. I wanted to see if I could still do it. I think that there are quite a few things I can improve, composition, character position and lighting. Still, I'm quite happy with what I've managed so far.

Sketchbook Scans - Train People

This is a collection of some of the sketches I made during a long train ride. They're all actual people, though some have been exaggerated a bit. For the first I used a Tradio Stylo pen, second one is done with a Pentel GFKP pen. Both on Windsor & Newton paper.

Well, there you go. With Overlord being shipped I have a lot more time to pick up the brush/pencil again and freshen up my skills. It's been quite some time since I last did some proper concept art and it feels good to finally be at it again. At work I'm focusing more on the environments. It a good practice since my first love is characters.
